How does this work again?

Yeah, been swamped moving, unpacking, traveling blah - blah - blah. I know, no excuses.

Here’s a couple recent MINIs.

The Dreamsicle MINI. I didn’t tink it up but I did get paid to make it happen…

And some factory-style Sport Stripes over the bumper.

By the way I am fast approaching my 600th MINI. That’s a lot of bonnet stripes and roof checkers.

Weekend in pictures

Stoli

Since our house has been on the market, we have been making frequent trips in the car with Stoli. We felt she needed proper eye protection because she loves to stick her head out the window at speed.

Home?

We’re close to making an offer on this house so cross your fingers.

Deanne's new iPhone

Finally, you had to have seen this one coming although this is the wife’s iPhone and not mine. You know I’ll be borrowing it frequently until I get one of my own.

More pics in my flickr.

A few minutes of help online

Hey MINI fans - could you please take a few minutes and complete an online survey about the global MINI community and clubs. It only takes a few minutes and would greatly be appreciated.

Online MINI community survey.

Big news

MU_225_banner.gifWhite Roof Radio Press Release Lake Elsinore, CA - Whiteroofradio.com is pleased to announce that it has been named the official podcast partner of MINI United 2007.

Whiteroofradio hosts Don “db” Burnside, Todd Pearson and Gabe Bridger will cover the international event live from Zandvoort, Netherlands June 22-24, 2007. It is anticipated that Whiteroofradio’s coverage of the event will include daily news postings, event posts, and interviews as well as whiteroofradio.com’s regularly scheduled weekly shows recorded on site in Zandvoort.

In addition to coverage of the events at MINI United from The Netherlands, Whiteroofradio.com will also have periodic updates and interviews with key organizers of MINI United in the weeks leading up to the event in June.

MINI United was first held in 2005 in Misano, Italy, as a way for MINI to bring together as many owners as possible in one location to show their appreciation and give owners the opportunity to meet up with other MINI Owners and participate in the global mini community. In 2005 the event drew more than 6,000 MINI owners and fans. The 2007 event is anticipated to be even larger.

“All of us at Whiteroofradio.com are honored to have been asked to support MINI United,” said Don “db” Burnside, one of Whiteroofradio’s hosts. “We see MINI United as a physical representation of what Whiteroofradio does every week - bringing MINI Cooper owners together around this car and this brand that is such a fun part of our lives.”

Whiteroofradio is a podcast dedicated to the MINI Cooper. Begun in 2005, its hosts, Don “db” Burnside, Todd Pearson and Gabriel Bridger from Motoringfile.com, get together twice a week to discuss MINI news, developments and events. Over the past two years years, Whiteroofradio has covered events such as MINI Takes the States in 2006 and A MINI Vacation in Vegas in 2006 and 2007.

The podcast is made available twice a week free of charge and can be played back on any personal computer, portable media player or CD. Whiteroofradio boasts an international listenership with more than 20,000 shows downloaded monthly. It’s sponsors and supporters include Outmotoring.com, M7 Tuning, MINICarParts.net, DetailingConcepts.com, Webb Motorsports, Alta MINI Performance, Fireballed Racing and Way Motor Works.

More Vegas work

I did two of these sunroof covers while in Vegas. Only one example is pictured here because the first car belonging to Michael and Patricia had to leave quickly for a poker run before I got photos. I’ll get photos from MIchael soon.

The logo is cut out so it looks great from the inside and it casts a really cool image as the sun shines through.

Michael and Patricia, or should I say Patricia chose this graphic for the sunroof. While installing it, Donna from Monterey expressed a fondness for it and luckily I brought two copies with me so now there’s a northern California MINI and a mid-California MINI sporting my work. Thanks to both for the opportunity to flex my skills while at AMVIV.
